Did you pick up a Verizon Galaxy Nexus today? If you are one of the luck ones, then you should be on the lookout for an update. Reports have users receiving Android 4.0.2 today, usually around 2-3 hours after you’ve activated your Galaxy nexus.
Update ICL53F offers the following improvements:
- Optmized mobile hotspot when used with VPN
- Notification fixes and visual improvements to the lockscreen
- Will automatically reconnect to known WiFi access points
- Fixes issue with email attachments
- Removal of DivX support (will return in future update)
The overall update is 10.7MB, which shouldn’t take long with your ultra-fast LTE Nexus.
