Android Gingerbread Currently Planned for Q4 2010

Hidden in the FAQ for Google’s new WebM format is a reference to Android support coming in the Gingerbread iteration. The update is “currently planned for Q4, 2010″. So much for diets, Froyo is upon us and Gingerbread might land by the end of this year.
