According to the Internet, which never lies, the next-generation of ASUS’ Eee Pad Transformer is going to be the first Android device to ship with NVIDIA’s upcoming quad-core CPU, codenamed Kal-El. According to NVIDIA, the Kal-El gets a performance boost of 5x over the Tegra 2 dual-core CPU that is currently dominating the market.

According to Engadget, ‘multiple sources’ have confirmed that the next ASUS Eee Pad Transformer will sport the quad-core Kal-El inside. This is, of course, not confirmed yet but it’s only a matter of time if this is indeed true!
