The Eee Pad Transformer, that deceptively awesome new device from Asus, just got cooler. Is it a tablet? Is it a netbook? It’s both and the source code just hit the Internet today.
One of the best, if not the best things about Android is the openness of the software and the passion of the development community. Manufacturers don’t always make things easy for developers, indeed sometimes they go very far out of their way to make them challenging, but our developers persevere.
We think that any developers are out there are going to be very happy with Asus for releasing the source code for their device so soon, especially as the Transformer isn’t even out yet in the United States.
