Plenty of buzz surrounding the release of Verizon’s Droid. A press only event is scheduled for October 28th. We suspect that Verizon will make the official sales date, well official.

Verizon’s PR agency sent out postcards with 11.09 depicted on the front with the www.droiddoes.com site below. One can only suspect that the release date will November 9th. We expect news surrounding the release will drop on October 28th.

We haven’t received our invitation, but we’re certainly marking our calendars for October 28th.
