The latest and greatest CyanogenMod, version 7.0, has now been released. Version 7.0 is based off of Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread). You’ll need to be familiar with custom ROM’s to install, so saddle up your favorite ROM Manager to install. If you get stuck, they’ve set up an impressive Wiki chock full of information. As always, our Android forums are a great place to get help, so join up and ask for help. Those of you upgrading from Cyanogen6 are encouraged to perform a backup before upgrading to Cyanogen 7.
