The Droid RAZR was made available today and if you’re anxiously awaiting root access, the wait is over! There is, however, one catch — the root method that is currently available has no option to revert back to factory state so if you do something unfortunate to your device, you are truly and utterly out of luck.
So, proceed with caution if, indeed, you intend to proceed at all. If you are uncomfortable with rooting your device or tinkering with it, we would advise waiting a week to see if the great Android community will work up a one-click root method or something similar.
