Google’s former CEO and current Executive Chairman doesn’t like the name Ice Cream Sandwich. If you check out the above video and fast forward to 30:27 or so, you’ll be able to catch his rather annoyed statement. Feel free to watch the whole keynote however, if you’re into that sort of thing, it’s pretty interesting.
“We have a new operating system, internally known as ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ for some reason, which is being released in October-November, which everybody is very excited about.”
Whether he likes the name or not, Schmidt was happy to announce that ICS is heading our way in October/November which, while not unexpected, is great to hear from the horse’s mouth.
