depends on whether or not you have the d-pad activated. If the D pad is activated then the screen is just smaller its still a whole screen. just half the screen if that makes any sense.

when i play it with the keyboard open it's the full nintendo screen in the middle of the droid display. so there are "black bars" on either side of the image. it's like watch non-stretched 4/3 tv show on a 16/9 tv.

you can't play it with it closed. unless i'm missing something. all other android phones have balls (yes, i said that one purpose) so i think you can play them on those phones vertical.

The guys at MobileCrunch have assembled a list of 10 must have apps.

Twidroid, Flixster, Nesoid, Meridian (media player), BarCode Reader, TED, 3Banana, Power Manager.

I am looking for a good alarm app. I came from WinMo and used to have G-Alarm and loved it. Any Suggestions?

What features are you looking for in the alarm app? You know that they have the multimedia dock for the droid that turns it into its own alarm clock and you can view your pictures, listen to your music and watch your videos on it while its plugged into the device. Also charges the phone while in the dock. The dock is 30 dollars at your local vzw store.

i bought the dock and used it last night for the first time. i also use the stock alarm app with a custom ringtone. AC/DC's "Hard as a Rock". you just need to add a folder on your sd card called "alarms" and then put whatever mp3's you want in there. then they will show up when you choose an alarm ringtone.

the dock is well worth the $30. it comes with the same data cable and charger plug that came with the droid. so you're getting a second charger and the docking station. the dock itself is nice and solid and has little rubber feet on the bottom so it won't slid around. i think it's a great deal compared to the chargers in vzw stores, 29 bucks just for the frickin charger.

I really liked the flexibility of G-Alarm. I guess if I were to boil it down the one feature I really really want is the ability to set the snooze duration on the fly. For example with G-Alarm I had it configured that when I hit snooze it would go silent for a random about of time between 8 and 14 minutes but if I were to hold down snooze another menu would come up allowing me to select my snooze interval for up to an hour. This came in very handy.
