While sitting at a cafe and about to surf on an unsecured connection, the obvious thought occurred to me-- never seen any firewall setting on my Droid. Best I can tell, there is no firewall in v2.0.1. Any idea why Google would fail to put one in? Or, am I mis-informed?

Marketplace appears to have call & SMS blocking firewalls, but no port blocking. Could one of you experts in Android dev direct us to an app which puts this in? [Rooting isn't an option here, because I don't have the time to support it for employees.] As we all know, there are lots of open WiFi connections out there at vacation spots (for instance) which are also outside of 3G range. I can use a puter instead, but the Droid would be much easier and more convenient...

    Thanks!
