These are a list of things I would like to see on my G1!

    1. Hulu/Joost app: plain and simple I want a way to watch these. And with flash coming to Android sooner or later, this would be tops on my list.

    2. Video Recorder: This is something that I would love to have. I was disapointed that the G1 came sans a video recorder. But I have read elsewhere that one is being developed for the app store.

    3. A Skinner: I would love to be able to skin the heck out of my G1. I mean I had a Ipod touch that was jailbroken and Customize rocked.

    4. Media Library Organizer: OK, we have all seen the scanning ability of the camera. So why not have software that allows scanning of our media library so we can create lists for tracking out own libraries?

    5. More Photo apps: I love the editing abilities of Picsay. But I want a few more options. I hope this app gets updated allot! But I want a morphing app!

    6. Turn by turn GPS: Simply a must!

    7. Bejewelled/poppit/removem: I love simple puzzle games. These 3 are great and provide hours of enjoyment. Lets see them ported!

    8. persistant chat rooms: we need an area for other googlrphiles where we can all meet up and chat!

9: Movie Trailers: Everyone loves movie trailers. And mobile Trailers is even better!

I agree with turn by turn navigation. It seems since the iPhone it's ok to simply put GPS on a device for location based services (which I do love). I'd like to see an Android version of Yelp. Still one of my favorites on the iPhone. As with everything sans Windows Mobile, my biggest request would be Sling Player Mobile for Android. It's in beta for BlackBerry, Apple won't approve an iPhone version, so where is the Android version?

BTW, thanks for joining Everything gPhone!

Bejewelled would be a good one and a Shell like "SPB Shell 2.1 for Mobile 6" that gives you a quick summary of whats up on your phone. Also a player for audio books from iTunes.

If you use iTunes I do have a commercial app that I can recommend. Its called Tunebite. I use it to convert ALL my media to a format that plays on my G1. I don't know the forum rules about DRM but Tunebite converts even protected files to MP3. It will also convert video files as well. But you must be the owner of the track you convert. It verifys the track ownership.

Another app I would like to see is one that provides for a secure folder on the sd card. A place to store those private documents. It must be password protected or use the gesture based security. But I know I have a few files I would like locked up.

Is there an App for smart text? My old "ordinary" phone had it but can't seem to find or use it on the G1

Sometimes it's necessary to sync Android with Mac. There's a free edition of SyncMate. Quite a nice software, I have been using it for Mac syncing and now also found a way to sync with Android.
