I want to backup/copy my installed programs and wallpapers(not 100% positive where they are stored at the moment) to my SD card. What would you recommend? There are a few programs I want to retrieve later (individually, not in a lump upload), but don't want the upgrades that are on the market. (I'm one of those partial... if it isn't broken, don't fix it... people.... don't ask, simply oxymoronic at the moment). :dft002:zombie

Thanks in advance for your generous help!!!!! :dft003:cool

I think Astro is prolly the best way to back up your apps.

i used astro to backup my wifes apps..the .apk files
but after the OTA went through all her apps were still there
i used SMSBackup (i think thats what its called) to save her texts

but you can use astro to dig through the files to save them to the SD card if they arent already

I would recomend that you re-download your apps when ever you go from one build of the OS to another.

aTrackDog is useful for figuring out which apps you haven't re-downloaded.

Appbrain also saves your app list and can share with friends.

Hey! That's the one I kept forgetting to mention! I just added it to my sig.

Then there is MyBackup Pro. I just used it to move from leak 1 to leak 3. Twice.

I think my Eris is ready to face the future for a few more months.
