This title is a bit misleading, since I'm having a tough time finding a good one. The general consensus says it's Twidroid. I've tried Twidroid, Swift, iTweet and one other. I've been browsing the Android Market, but nothing pops out as big time app.

I gotta say this has dulled my enthusiasm for the Droid.:dft006:unhappy

What Twitter app(s) have you used? What are your experiences?

IDK. I have yet to find a Twitter client for iPhone I really like. I suspect Android will be the same. In the end, I've settled on the native Twitter app on the Eris. I get DM, mention notifications. Not as powerful a client as I've seen. But, it sure makes a good widget on the home screen.

HTC Peep is my favourite Twitter application, doesn't suck like most of the others.

Trying seesmic and twidroid pro. both are decent although twidroid seems to be the more well rounded app although I like the look of seesmic better. Neither can come close to the twitter apps I'm used to from the iPhone or BB platforms. Tweetie 2, SimplyTweet, Tweet Genius, and UberTwitter all are much better.

    Twicca

Twicca is a new twitter app that is still in beta that I downloaded last night. I really like it but it is still obvious that it's a beta product.

    Things I like:
It loads new tweets/replies/dm's very fast
    UI is slick
Has all the basic features most twitter apps do

    Things that suck:
    No autocorrect when typing

It's free so definitely worth a try

Does it remember where you were last reading? That's my number one priority.

ah my bad, i thought it did. man I sure miss Tweetie 2 and SimplyTweet.

Twicca is just beta though. I guess Seesmic and Twidroid are really the 2 best options right now on Android.

I like it better. I have tried both, and Swift does what I need. Also tried Seesmic...
