    Is there an effective app that gives you emoticons in SMS messages? Also my wife has an iPhone and she sends me a text message with an emoticon and it just shows up as a box on my end. What gives?
    I have the Captivate.

    if its showing up as a box its probably due to your phone having incompatability "seeing" the icon...for instance, if you read certain websites/threads written in different languages youll sometimes come across that exact same box. There may be an icon pack out there that could help.
