    Chris did you get it?
Saw dome tweets this morning that N1 users were seeing the update.

Nothing OTA. Just downloaded the file, but it only works for T-Mobilers and rooted N1's.

I need to wait for someone to locate the AT&T ROM on Google's servers, Google to send some OTA love or get over and root it.:dft011:tounge_out

I'm surprised you haven't rooted yet.

I will not un-root for froyo on my Moto Droid. I will install the first froyo rom from the Dev's instead.

Root Rules in the Droid Army !!!. :028:commando

I tried a few times -- renamed update.zip to update. It sees it, but then aborts with a
7 error -- I'm not the only one, seems to be happening to others on AT&T.

Guess I'll have to wait for the AT&T version to drop -- wonder what the difference is that it won't work on my N1.

Have you rooted ? You need to have sprecovery installed first. If you are ... you also have to select allow update first. I would also wipe data and cache. This is the way my Droid works.

Good luck and your patience will be rewarded. :dft012:wink

I'll give it a whirl today... see what happens. Since I'm stock, I can always reflash the new ROM when it gets all official from Google/HTC.

Looks like I already have the second FRF50 from ERE27 file. Redownloading the other file, since Safari auto unarchives. Moving quickly, so I think I'll take a break from inbox cleaning to update. Wish me luck. See you on the other side.:dft011:tounge_out
