    Has anyone heard of google tv, and do you know if the easter egg thing where you send youreslf an email with the link in it actually works.

    Yes, I too know about Google TV, with same concern as @n99hockey. I don't understand what email you're talking about. An explanation would be appreciated.

    I don't know what OP is referring to (about emailing yourself a link), but if you have a YouTube account (who doesn't?), you can just jump to http://youtube.com/leanback to get a barebones preview of the Google TV player (supports only searching/playing of YouTube videos, obviously, but it works the same as on the GTV boxes). It might look slightly different than the actual GTV interface, for obvious reasons, but you get nearly the same experience.

    To make this even more awesome, you can download the "YouTube Remote" app for Android and control the leanback interface from your phone! (NB! May only be available/supported in Froyo and above, I cannot confirm lower versions). This leanback and remote control functionality will eventually be phased into the main YouTube app for Android (official from Google).
