Droid Incredible Happy Froyo Day!

    To all you HTC Incredible owners out there, Happy Froyo Day!

    Today Verizon has officially launched Android 2.2 for our devices. Its nice to be included in all the Froyo and Android talk, sometimes it feels like we (or maybe its just me) that we are the red-headed step child of the Android World. Being touted as one of the best Android devices (I think it was for a total of 3 days before Moto announced something) its finally nice for us to get some love. :dft011:tounge_out

    No word on how long it will take to get to everyone, but I think I read that they are going out in 10,000 device increments. With shipment shortages, maybe it wont take that long at all!

    So here is hoping you get your soon!

    I had heard Verizon is going to push the update out later on tonight, like 11PM or so.

    I usually just wait until someone posts the update.zip file and do it manually. Hopefully someone will do that right away.

    I watched the Eris 2.1 update reports on the forums. Very random. Couples with the same phone bought at the same time got their updates weeks apart.
