Droid Messaging problems

    i just got the droid yesterday and twice all my messages were deleted and a few times i have also had problems to get into my text messages. A box would pop up saying error and the whole screen would go black. Has any one had these problems? and anything i can do to stop this?

    There is a message threshold limit that if you dont change will delete all your messages depending on the thread and the settings you have setup on the phone it comes with 200 i believe is the limit, if it was much less than that not sure what to tell ya, may have a defective device.

    I might take it in to where you got it and see if you can reproduce the problem. It might be a bad installation of Messaging or Android itself.
