    My dear friends,
My brother has just bought One X but it has severe overheating when hold to the hands. It also retains charge for barely half the day!We checked but no update from Htc. Please help. Thanks.

Help how? There are many posts all over the web about this and it seems to be due to the quad core when being pushed, especially while gaming.

Not sure if HTC is working on any kind of software modification or if they even can. I did see some mention of running in a powersaver mode, but I am not sure what that is all about. I also saw many mentions that the built in browser also seems to push the temp higher than with aftermarket browsers.

Here is one of hundreds of threads I found with a Google search.....

I suggest your brother contact the vendor he bought it from to complain and to also contact HTC's customer service to see if they say there is anything than can or will be done.

I hope it works out for him. Let us know what goes on.

It would be sad if this is a problem that can't be fixed for the users......
