I think its awesome Blackdroid keeps coming out with new roms like every week or every other day, but I just am getting tired of having to re-setup all my icons and widgets every time a new one comes out lol. and having to reinstall all my programs even though i have a program to do it for me lol, still gotta press yes, ok, install for each one lol. Think ill stick with the 9.8 for now and wait a few more weeks til i upgrade again lol.

I heard you were a mean cook on the weber ... :dft012:wink

9.8.0 Is such a solid rom ... I would just stick with it for awhile. I tried the V10 and went back to 9.8.0 it just seems smoother to me. Also the 9.8.0 is named verizon wireless, V10 is named Ultimate Droid. The NFL app runs on 9.8.0 but on V10 it would not. Pop up said this app is for verizon wireless customers only.

It's been a while since I upgraded to 2.1 so I don't remember exactly how it worked but MyBackup restored my home screens and bookmarks.

Rob, is there a "kitchen" used for making roms? I know the Touch Pro had a few but didnt know if its the same for this device.

Hello guys and gals! I've been following the rooting frenzy but I waited and ota updated to 2.1. has any rooting been done after the update by anyone who wasn't too impressed by the 2.1 update such as myself? what happened to flash capability with 2.1? I am still interested in rooting but haven't seen much on here about after 2.1 rooting.

    good morning Jonesboy :)
Currently I havent seen any rooting beyond 2.1. As of right now the facts are that the OTA 2.2 update will offer flash. As of the official date, that is left to rumors but the general thoughts are that it will be offered in May.

    Hello jonesboy!

I rooted after the 2.1 ota. You have to use RSD Lite and flash a file that will give you 2.1 with SP recovery first and then u can put roms on again. I will try to dig up some links in a little bit, just getting up and gotta get ready for work. So stand by for links.
