    I guess my question is does it really improve speed and battery life? I'm pretty happy with the EVO right now but if Froyo could do that I would be ecstatic.

    There's a little improvement in speed but the battery drains fast if you're watching alot of videos.

    That shouldn't be the reason for delay, since the N1 was released long back. N1 could have been updated to FROYO. May be there is something else going on inside.
