    You can also go to the Market and download "Gmail Unread Count". Once installed, you can place a configurable widget/icon on your home screen that will show the number of unread messages you have.

    Just switched myself, wonderful os. Came from palm pre and man palm is behind. Webos is nice, but they are behind. HTC Hero is a fantastic phone.

    My wife just bought a droid...so I am helping her learn it and get it all set up. I have followed the everythingWM forum for a few years and am glad this android forum is here too. I still am lurking over at everythingWM as well since I still own an HTC Ozone...first time my wife has snagged a nicer phone than me :dft009:smile
