It's a native application for both Android and iPhone. It's like a mobile version built within an app.

Just search 'tapatalk' in the Android Market. Just tested on the G1 and now on the iPhone.

The first three comments about TapaTalk on the Marketplace say it is easier to use the browser.

I personally like the full sites on my phone. Have used Tapatalk, but not worth paying for. They say that it will be a "read only" version for free, which to me is pointless on a forum...Most forums offer a mobile version, so I would use that before paying for Tapatalk....l

I guess it depends. I personally love a good mobile version, but some people like apps. Based on iPhone pricing, I'd suspect they will charge $3 for the Pro version.

Think TapaTalk, but with Twitter integration for news.

Tapping on the Twitter tab within the app would bring up this sort of screenshot.

    View attachment 7043

Tap on a link would fire up the browser and present the Android friendly mobile page on the blog.

What is free? For the site owner to add and support on their site I see. Users have to buy the full version to do anything but read.
Not exactly what I would consider overwhelming reason to run and get the app.....Here....And here is the developer's site...

    Up to Chris....

i never used apps nor do i use the mobile version. i just like seeing the forum the way it is on my desktop. i use a GSII so it has a pretty nice size screen. but i guess if i had an iphone i would have to use an app or the mobile version due to the tinchy, winchy screen you can't see the whole forum clearly ever with the retina display it's just too small.

i guess another reason to use the mobile version or even an app is if you don't have unlimited data then i could see a use for it. but i'm on sprint so i don't have that problem:)
