Droid Eris Text message alert delay

    Hello everyone, I just had a quick question about my texting... notification or whatever.
    Whenever I recieve a text it vibrates, and then maybe 6 or 7 seconds later the sound will go off.
    Just curious to know if theres a way to stop this, if not its not a big deal my phones on vibrate most of the time anyway. Thanks a lot!
