Gingerbread Headed For Nexus One Officially, Droid Incredible and Droid Original ROMed

Everyone is super-eager to get their hands on Gingerbread, and we know you’re all silently cursing the carriers for not having the OTA updates going out to every imaginable device as we speak. Luckily, we have at least some good official news, as the OS update is headed to the Nexus One in “coming weeks”.

If you’re a user of the Droid original or Droid Incredible, you can grab a ROM of the new OS, both of which appear to be stable and almost completely functional.

Or, if you’re not interested in theĀ vagariesĀ of installing it yourself, you can twiddle your thumbs and wait for your carrier to push out the update. So, does everyone even have FroYo yet?

  1. Nope stuck with 2.1 still but its no real big issue. The only thing I could really use is updated flash so I can visit more sites when I am not at home.
