If you’re like me, you can’t wait for any possible time to have something most other Android users don’t have, specifically when it’s an OS update. It is rumored that next week, myself and possibly most that read this, will be able to get the SDK for Android’s newest version, 3.0 (projected version number). Gingerbread will encompass a variety of updates and additions, but most importantly a UI overhaul. The UI changes are intended to remove the ability for companies to put their own feel on each device. The debate over this is an entirely separate piece, but it is something to think about it.
Hopefully we will see the SDK out next week, which would give us the ability to emulated, and the knowledge of soon-to-be ROMS and the actual push out.
