Google Chrome For Android Beta Released, Requires Ice Cream Sandwich

Google today announced the immediate availability of Google Chrome for Android Beta, if you are lucky enough to be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. According to Google, Chrome for Android brings all the features you love in the desktop version of Chrome including speed and simplicity.

Chrome for Android

One of the best features is the ability to personalize your experience on the mobile side, which integrates nicely with Chrome on your desktop. If you aren’t using Chrome on your PC/Mac, these features might make it worth switching.

  • View open tabs: Access the tabs you left open on your computer (also signed into Chrome)—picking up exactly where you left off.
  • Get smarter suggestions: If you visit a site often on your computer, you’ll also get an autocomplete suggestion for it on your mobile device, so you can spend less time typing.
  • Sync bookmarks: Conveniently access your favorite sites no matter where you are or which device you’re using.

Google Chrome for Android Beta is available now in the Android Market. If you give it a go, let us know how it’s working for you.
