Google No Longer Investigating Nexus One 3G Issues

Are you having trouble with 3G connectivity on the Nexus One? It’s plagued some owners and many were anxiously awaiting Google to deliver an OTA update to resolve the problems. It appears they’ve done all they can do at this point. Not exactly what some of want to hear, but that’s the official word from Google, posted in their support forums.

“Hey guys,
I’ve seen some recent speculation on this thread about an OTA to improve 3G connectivity and I want to give you an update on the situation.
While we are continuing to monitor user feedback regarding the 3G performance on the Nexus One, we are no longer investigating further engineering improvements at this time.
If you are still experiencing 3G issues, we recommend that you try changing your location or even the orientation of your phone, as this may help in areas with weaker coverage.

So where does that leave you? Looking at other options such as the Droid Incredible or gutting it out and hoping Google’s gets back on this.
