A new leaked photo showed up today at Engadget and it’s purportedly the keyboard for the Droid 2 or Droid Shadow. It certainly sounds plausible and the microphone is similar in design to what you’d see within Android. The big news here is the removal the D-pad. Of course, it’ll be even bigger news if they’ve made improvements to the keyboard itself. The current Droid keyboard is very flat and often provides a less-than-optimal tactile experience.
We should also note that gone is the bling gold styling, replaced with what looks like the paint job from an HTC Tilt.
