If you were an impatient type, who decided to manually install Android 2.2 on your Droid X, instead of waiting for the official version, you may want to change back. MyDroidWorld has been hit with a cease and desist from Motorola, calling for them to remove the ROM files from their server, as they’re under copyright by the phone maker.
I’m sure you’ll be able to find the files on less savory sites, but Motorola obviously thinks doing things yourself is a no-no. Maybe the version of Froyo leaked wasn’t completely stable. Or maybe Motorola are a pack of bastards, who want to control how you use your phone.
