Samsung Tablet Firmware Leaks, Provides More Info [update: Headed to Vodafone UK?]

The Samsung Android tablet that’s expected to launch next month still remains something of a mystery. However, some things are clearing up with the leak of an Android build designed for the tablet. Tucked away in that info are some interesting specs for the Galaxy Tab P1000:

- Screen resolution 480×800.
- Camera Max resolution 2048×1536.
- Camcorder Max resolution 2048×1536. (Not sure about this info)
- Front cam Max resolution 240×320.
- CPU Profile ARM11.
- CPU Core S5PC110.
- CPU speed 1.0GHz.
- Flashplayer.
- GPS. (Google Maps)
- WIFI.
- SyncML support.
- Swype.
- JavaScript 1.5.
- Bleutooth (Don’t know the version yet)
As Engadget points out those key stats are identical to the Galaxy S: 1GHz processor, 800×480 screen (though that’s over a 7-inch rather than 4-inch screen). This really does look like a standard smartphone, just with a stonking big screen. Not that that’s a bad thing.
