Sprint and Motorola have announced that they will be holding a joint event for the media on June 9th, just a couple weeks away from today. But what will they be announcing? The CEO’s of both Motorola and Sprint will be on hand for the event so you can bet your boots that it won’t be anything small.
Word on the street is that the event will be for an upcoming device by the name of the Photon 4G by Motorola. The Photon was leaked earlier today, and is rumored to be heading to Sprint. The device is said to feature a 4.3-inch qHD display, similar to the Droid X2. Along for the ride is a Tegra 2, dual-core CPU and support for Sprint’s 4G WiMAX support.
We’ll certainly be keeping our ears out as we get closer to June 9th.
