T-Mobile has just unveiled two flagship devices, both to ship on October 12th. First up is the T-Mobile specific version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. Not exactly surprising given that everyone and their mothers gets their own version of this. 4.5-inch screen, dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor at 1.5GHz, and will be one of the first phones to use the 42Mbps HSPA+ and T-Mobile TV functions.
It sports Android 2.3.5 with TouchWiz layered over the top, and will cost you $229.99 with $50 MIR. You can grab it online from October 10th, or in stores from October 12th.
Slightly more exclusive is the T-Mobile only HTC Amaze 4G. It’ll cost you $259.99 on a two-year contract and has a 4.3-inch qHD screen and 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. Like the Galaxy S II, it can use T-Mobile’s 42Mbps HSPA+ network, and is the first HTC phone with a NFC chip.
T-Mobile is also promising some pretty awesome photography with this thing, thanks to its 8MP sensor, 1080p video, dedicated shutter button, and “zero shutter lag.” It runs Android 2.3.4 with a Sense skin. Like the Samsung, it’ll hit stores October 12.
If you want the HSPA+ connection but not a new phone, T-Mobile also announced the Sonic 4G Mobile HotSpot, which will do exactly that — though we don’t know the price yet.
