Video Preview: Google Maps 5 for Android

Just a quick video preview of Google Maps 5.0 for Android that was announced today. As you’ll see here, it was tested on a Nexus One running Froyo. For some reason, we were unable to rotate, which is one of the big new features. It looks pretty slick overall, but we’re wondering why rotate does not work. Anyone having better luck? If so, let us know in the comments.

    on my captivate i896, it doesnt rotate either
