Protector Note 5 – the most important at a glance

The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is the fifth generation of the Samsung Galaxy Note series. It was unveiled on 13 August 2015, along with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.[1][2] The Note5 is a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and was succeeded by the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The Note5 was initially released in the United States on 21 August 2015, with other markets such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and India following shortly afterwards.

The Note5 is primarily made of metal and glass, with a curved back and a flat front. It is Samsung’s first Note smartphone to not have a removable back cover or a replaceable battery. The Note5 is also Samsung’s first smartphone to use the Exynos 7420 SoC, which is also used in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The device also features 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32/64/128 GB of internal storage that is not expandable via microSD.

The Note5 features a 5.7inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and a pixel density of 518 ppi. The device is powered by an Exynos 7420 octacore processor, with four cores clocked at 2.1 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. It also comes with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and either 32/64/128 GB of internal storage.

The Note5 features a 16megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization, as well as a 5megapixel frontfacing camera with an f/1.9 aperture. The device is also equipped with a 3000 mAh nonremovable battery, and supports fast charging via both microUSB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

The Note5 was released with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and was updated to Android 7.0 Nougat in February 2017.
